@JYNGERSNAPZ  Is Sims 4 currently installed on your computer or not?  If not, does it help to clear more space on C?  Even though you're probably installing to your external drive, the EA App downloads temp files to C, and with so little space left, it might be having trouble doing so.  (The App budgets space in a way that's wildly inefficient.)  After clearing the space, please also clear the EA App's cache and restart your computer.

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

If you're still getting the error, please run chkdsk on both your internal drive and the external one.

    • Hit Windows key-X
    • Choose either “PowerShell (Administrator)” or “Windows Terminal (Administrator),” whichever option is offered
    • Inside the window that appears, copy and paste "chkdsk /f /r c:" without quotes, and enter
    • You'll be asked to allow a restart; say yes
    • When the scan is done, use this guide to find the results
    • Repeat for drive D: use "chkdsk /f /r d:" without quotes

You should be able to attach the report to a post as well.  Running chkdsk will take some time, so you may want to leave it while you're doing something else.

hello, i hope i did this process correctly, but i ran into more errors trying to copy and paste to it, also whenever I tried clearing the cache to restart and download, it still helps with nothing. I'm starting to believe it might be my d Drive. Also, sims 4 is not installed but it keeps showing the file on my d drive still, I'm trying to delete it but it wont delete so i can reinstall.

@JYNGERSNAPZ  Did you choose the PowerShell or Windows Terminal option with (Administrator) in its name?  If you don't see it at all, make sure you're signed into an admin Windows account.

For the game not uninstalling, try using Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) to remove everything.  Restart your computer immediately before running it, and make sure the EA App is closed and the EABackgroundService is NOT running in the Task Manager.
