PC Crash when opening build mode

When I click build mode or press F2, My PC crashed (blue screen). Not always but quiet often. And when that happen, I usually haven't save the game and lost hours of progress.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

    - Press Windows-Key + R
    - Type: DxDiag
    - Click on Save all Information.
    - Attach the Text File to your post

Half of the information in the DxDiag is missing because it has also crashed.

    1. Press the Windows key and R at the same time.
    2. Enter "dxdiag /dontskip" (Without the quotes.) into the new Windows > Press ENTER
    3. Wait until the green bar has disappeared, then create a new DxDiag text document.
    4. Load it up here.

The WER (Windows Error Reporting) section of the DxDiag is still empty.

    1. Press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
    2. In the new Window, type or copy and paste "%LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps" (Without the quotation marks) > Press ENTER
    3. Check to see if there are any "*.dmp" files named after the game exe in the ".Local\CrashDumps" folder.
    4. If there are no *.dmp files in this folder check in "%SystemRoot%\minidump"
    5. Zip 2 - 3 ">Game.exe<.dmp" or minidump files together and upload them at a free file hosting service like Dropbox or you can use your OneDrive "public" folder
    6. Post the link here.

    Similians

The crash in the memory dump is related to "Simulation_x64.dll" a Sims 4 dll. I saw it before and it was always related to problems with the specific save. It however should not crash your entire system.

Please try to play the game in a clean folder, as described in this guide.

Should the blue screen crashes continue, please load up a dump from the "%SystemRoot%\minidump" folder.
