@drinsanityy That looks like a rather low level card. I'll need to do some research on it first. I'll get back to you.

@drinsanityy So, based on other cards that are similar to yours I'd say, try the following:

Search for the following line in the file

    card 0x1D10 "NVIDIA GeForce GTX MX150" $cardLevelMedium $resolutionHigh

Before that add a new line with the following values

    card 0x174D "NVIDIA GeForce GTX MX130" $cardLevelMedium $resolutionMedium

Not sure why the config file is giving you 1025 as deviceID.

Anyways, backup the file before attempting and then check if the game now finds your card. It is a pretty weak card so you might see lags. If it's really bad, you might make further adjustments and go to low. Feel free to come back if you have problems.

@drinsanityy You might wanna set graphics settings to low instead. Maybe that helps. You can try that ingame.

@drinsanityy No, it should stick but they have been changes with the patch so you will need to redo them after the patch.

Are they erased from the file after each time you run the game ?

@drinsanityy Hm. It worked before, right ? I'm going to pass you on to another helper as I'm insanely busy in bugs.

@drinsanityy  Every time Sims 4 is patched, repaired, or reinstalled, the graphicscards.sgr file you edited gets replaced with an unaltered copy.  So if you didn't redo the edit after last week's patch, then your card would be unrecognized again.

Every time you have a clean game folder, the game will generate the warning about an unrecognized card.  So if you're troubleshooting by moving files around, it wouldn't be unusual to see that message over and over.  At any rate, if you're not having any other problems with the game, just reapply the edit that Crinrict suggested here, and you should be fine.
