    @cozykhuwa  The lag is likely because of the combination of many packs, many sims on the lot, and the very little memory your computer has.  What you can do is not run anything alongside Sims 4, I mean other than the EA App; and put the EA App in offline mode if you're not going to use the Gallery or play through a login event in that particular play session.  Restart your laptop immediately before you want to play as well.  This will free up as much memory as possible for the game.

    I believe you could add another RAM module if you wanted, which would help at least a little and perhaps a lot.  Memory is cheap and easy to install, so if you're going to keep this laptop for a while, it's a reasonable upgrade.  You'd want laptop memory specifically, DDR3 running at 1600 MHz, and an 8 GB module would be fine.

@cozykhuwa  Please install the newest driver from Nvidia for your laptop's GT 730M.  It's old, but it's newer than the one you currently have installed.  Go here:

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/

Select GeForce, GeForce 700M Series (notebooks), GT 730M, Windows 10, and download the Game Ready Driver offered.  Run it as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator."  Restart your computer afterwards and before trying to play.

If this doesn't help, please describe the problem: does the game not start, does it start but crash, does it lag, etc.?  Again, the error message you posted initially can be ignored, and it shouldn't prevent you from running the game.

    @puzzlezaddict I did! Also i switched my game to DirectX9 which also made a huge difference. Now I'm getting the pop up saying the packs are taking a lot of memory, do you think that is the main reason for my lag? (By the way the game lags a lot especially if I go to populated lots, if my sim is alone it doesn't really lag as much. It is actually frustrating lol). Thank you so much for the help thus far!
