Recovered 30k Sims 4 mods, but all files are corrupted after deletion
Platform: PC (Windows) Total Files: ~30,000 (.package and .ts4script) The Problem: I accidentally deleted my Mods folder (specifically a "Build" folder) yesterday. I used Windows File Recovery (winfr) and Recoverit to bring them back. The files are now on a separate drive (B:), but when I move them to my game, it says they are corrupted/broken.
What I have already tried:
- System Restore: Didn't work (didn't affect personal files).
- Windows File Recovery: Ran /regular and /extensive modes. It found the files, but they are corrupted.
- ShadowExplorer: Drive H: did not have System Protection turned on, so no snapshots were found.
- Cache: I already deleted localthumbcache.package.
- OneDrive: Checked the cloud recycle bin; no files found there.
What I need help with: Is there any way to "batch repair" these files, or a tool that can scan 30,000 files to see which ones are actually healthy vs. which ones are broken? Or is there a deeper recovery method I missed?
