I have done all that was instructed, and there was absolutely no change in the game whatsoever.
Can you just please understand that this is something that the Patch update broke? That perhaps it's not something that is my fault?Graphics issues are often computer related. Mine isn't looking any different but I'm not using laptop mode so it's possible that has to do with that. Did you try if it happens if you turn laptop mode off (for testing really, cause you know information is important) ?
Just trying to help you and troubleshoot when it occurs.
This is a simple check.. But dxdiag makes it look like your monitor is connected to the chipset on the motherboard. (The connected monitor information is shown in the Intel Chipset section, rather than the GTX1060 section.)
Check where your monitor cables are connected to. The cable should be connected to a horizontal port (HDMI/DisplayPort etc.) in the back of the PCI-E bays (Usually located near the bottom of the case, though I've seen cases with a reverse configuration before), as opposed to a vertical port on the motherboard I/O shield.
However, if they are all connected correctly, ignore me. :D
I'm actually using a gaming laptop. And if I try to turn laptop mode off, my computer gets super incredibly hot and I'm fearful of melting the motherboard.
Is there another way to perhaps connect it to my graphics card and not the chip?
You could try turning laptop mode off and turning Vsync on and see if it makes a difference to the jagged edges as well as the heat coming from the laptop.
Another thing you could try is disconnecting the monitor before loading the game and checking if the jagged edges are there while using the built-in screen.
