Also, I switched to sims 3 camera and realized the objects don't attach to the coffee table at all. They just float above. Are we not able to properly place items on coffee tables? Is this to do with it being on a platform?

    Just tested it with MOO off and yes. they still seem to be floating. I experimented with the objects but on the ground floor and there was no problem so I redid the arrangement and moved it to the original position upstairs with no problem. Attached a pic
