I did everything you said to do and this is the result. The message only came up once to begin with and it works ok, the 0 hasn't disappeared.
@MadameNordica The only other thing I can think of is maybe you're not adding the .sgr file to the Sims 4 folder the game is reading. Here's how to find that folder:

Make sure the ConfigOverride folder you're using has exactly the same file path, which you can see by right-clicking the folder and selecting Properties > General.
