Redeem code early issue

I bought the new Sims 4 DLC on a third party site and was shocked today to see it was saying I could redeem it early.

Out of curiosity I tried it and it showed up as an accepted code so pressed accept it. I thought it would let me download it early so I could just play without fuss on release day but it didn't show up in my library and says the codes been redeemed.

Will it just show up on release day or has this glitched something?

To add to the confusion while it doesn't appear as owned in the EA app it showed up as owned but uninstalled in game.

EDIT: This fixed itself once the DLC officially released, hope the people below still having issues find help!
