Repair Game option reverts game to its old version (1.121 -> 1.120)

Thanks for your patience, The Sims 4 update is rolling out now. If you haven't updated yet, please do.

I can no longer open the game. It said user data folder were created by a newer version of Sims. 🤔

I have the EXACT same issue.. i tried repairing and it has done absolutely nothing. I removed all mods and cc before updating the game too.
