Update:
We've been digging into the DLC download issue, and together with our teams and the solutions that are shared in this thread, we've managed to uncover a few possible causes and workarounds.
Please check the following:
- Make sure your bank account has enough funds for the purchase. If it's running low, the purchase might fail, and that means the DLC won't show up correctly in your account, leading to this download problem.
- Check that your billing info is up to date.
- If your order seems stuck on "Processing", consider cancelling it and purchasing it again. But before you do, double-check those funds in your bank account.
- If you can't cancel your order online, check if you can cancel it by contacting the Support Team via this link.
- If you've got an order marked as "Completed" or "Fulfilled" in your Order History but the download is still acting up, please perform the following steps:
- Restart your computer,
- Open up the EA app and look for the "Home" button in the top-left corner,
- Find the Horse Ranch Expansion banner and click on "Get the Game,"
- The option to download the DLC should appear.
- For Origin for Mac users, please perform the following steps:
- Head over to the Origin settings and enable "Automatic Game Updates,"
- Restart Origin,
- Origin should now start the download of the DLC.
