Royalties broke (mid game) no mods

Hey all,  

I'm having an issue with my Sims 4 game. I'm playing with no mods, and a few content packs (magic, vampires, island, and pets). I was working on the best selling author chain and out of nowhere I stopped receiving royalties for everything! He's at like 16k out of 25k royalties for the chain, but also stopped getting royalties from music and videos too. I've run the 'repair' on the game file, reloaded old saves, nothing is working. I don't even get the royalty report anymore. I don't use any mods.

The only thing I can think of is that I mass submitted books to be published (all 10 in one day). Think at some point there was a 'do loop' or 'if then' error. But I have basically no idea how I would find/fix it.
