Run out of memory error/ Infinite saving

I have a Ti 1070, I have 16 gbs ram. i7 10th gen intel. I looked at other forums and reinstalled, and restarted my computer after for both origin and sims. I have it on Steam edition. I have plenty of room, can run fortnite or siege or dead by daylight while streaming on twitch with no issues or dropped frames. I have 1tb storage, 300 ish free, and 250 ssd just for windows. It shouldnt be having issues and doesn't for anything else.  It either wont load up past the main Logo screen, or if I do get passed it won't save anything. I hit play, make myself, no one else, then start and it'll save infinitely, assumingly, obviously after like 10-20 minutes I stopped and alt F4'ed or task managered. But it shouldnt have this issue.

  • after another reinstall, it wont even load at all. Just loads origin then stops itself. I checked firewall and all those, shouldn't be an issue.

  • @rushyyzttv  Your dxdiag lists a few Origin errors, so please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of Origin:

    • Quit Origin, then right-click on the Task Bar and open the Task Manager.  Scroll through looking for Origin entries.  If you find any, click on them and End Task.
    • Clear Origin's cache.
    • Download Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) from here.
    • Launch Revo, select Origin from the list, and click Uninstall.
    • When it finishes uninstalling, select "Moderate" under "scanning modes," and click Scan.
    • If Revo finds any remaining registry entries, select all, delete, and click Next.
    • Revo will display "Remaining Data and Folders."  Select all of them except for the "Origin Games" folder, if it appears.  (This is where Sims 4 and other Origin games are installed by default.)  Delete the rest.
    • Close Revo, and restart your computer.

Next, download the full Origin installer and run it.  Here's the direct download link:

    http://download.dm.origin.com/origin/live/OriginSetup.exe

Be sure to run both the installer and Origin itself as an admin: right-click on each and select "Run as Administrator."

If that doesn't help, please post a screenshot of the error you're getting.

@puzzlezaddict I did all those, I got the game to load, made the character but saving or moving past character creation doesn't work at all.

@rushyyzttv  Do you see an error when you try to save?  If so, please post a screenshot.  Please also let me know whether OneDrive is active and syncing the contents of Documents.  Here's how to check:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/choose-which-onedrive-folders-to-sync-to-your-computer-98b8b011-8b94-419b-aa95-a14ff2415e85

If OneDrive is syncing Documents, it might be full and blocking you from uploading anything else, which, when auto-sync is enabled, can basically block you from saving to the local version of Documents.  In order to change which folders get synced, you may first need to pause syncing or cancel the current sync.

@puzzlezaddict There's no error. I had Onedrive full already, so usually bypasses it by default, but I closed if off and turned it off. One drive was the issue, thank you so much for the help!
