S4 Basement Glitch

So in my game whenever I try to create a basement the screen gos grey and starts freaking out and I don't know how to fix it

Have you tried fully exiting the game and re-launching?

Have you verified that your graphic drivers are updated?

Are you running your game with mods and custom content enabled? If you have mods installed then try exiting the game, removing them, then re-launching.

I'm happy to hear that you were able to identify the problem without suffering any loss. The outer area should be black so you may want to adjust the contrast of your monitor.
