Save files dissapeared

Hi my game crashed in September of this year and since then all my saves in 2024 have gone! everything else in my sims 4 file is dated for the last time i played however, all the save files are from 2023 and dated to be from 2023. The location where sims reads the files has moved so i copied and renamed all the saves over but they are still the old ones! There is a file named last crash? and a folder names scratch with everything dated 2024 in? I don't know what these mean... 

If anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated

    @HazelHarmer  If you don't see any saves from 2024, then moving your existing saves around isn't going to help.  Is OneDrive running on your computer?  Even if you never use it, OneDrive could interfere with your Sims 4 data.  Please see the first post of this thread for more information:

    Other than that, you could run a search in Windows for Slot_ to see what else turns up.  If you find a save file from 2024, try it out.

    The scratch folder should only contain data while Sims 4 is running.  It sometimes doesn't get deleted when the game crashes, which is generally not a problem, but you can't really use the files inside for anything.
