So I haven't played the sims in a few months and all my saves are now gone. I found my old save file from when I backed my stuff to the one drive forever ago and tried to copy it and paste it into the current download, and that didn't work. I also pasted in the tray file from the one drive copy and that still hasn't recovered my data. Any other ideas?
Skar1et It sounds like you may not have placed the files in the correct Sims 4 folder, as in the one the game is reading. Or the files may be named incorrectly. For the former, please go in-game and find the full path to the correct folder:

Compare that location to the path to the files that won't load. The entire path matters, starting with the drive letter and going through the Sims 4 folder.
If that's not the issue, please post the file names. You can screenshot them if it's easier.
