Scandals Bug with Inheritance & Royalty

I'm having a major problem with scandals; it's impossible to get rid of them! Whether my Sims use the PC or the Podium, the duration of the scandals just keeps increasing... sometimes reaching 10,000 or 30,000 days lol

I'm desperate. My Sims are constantly being singled out, depressed every day, and their social interactions are becoming complicated!

I'm playing on PC with the EA app, I only use the Better BuildBuy mod, and I have custom clothing items. My entire game is up to date. Repairing and clearing the cache don't help.

Is there a solution to this scandal?
