Scientists cloning machine and invention constructor not working

I have already put a "Me Too" on the bug where the invention machine at the science lab display the brainstorming blueprint/projection thing over the scientist.

This is probably related to the issue where the machine no longer actively animates it's invention of any devices.   Rather the scientist just goes and stands by the constructor and eventually the device is made and available.    Possibly worth noting that there is no longer any countdown on this inventing interaction in the scientist Sims que.

I am also experiencing, but haven't found a topic here for issues with the cloning machine.   Had my scientist invent one.  She can place an object on it and "Clone Object" but once the animation (with the green or red beams) runs, no object is on the other side of the machine.    This is barely helpful in achieving her daily work goals but means I don't get the duplicate objects.

Wondering if anyone is having the same?
