Screen flickering, Sims not working right

I recently installed Sims 4 on my new desktop pc, and it's not running right.  Once I start playing, my monitor starts to glitch and flicker--and I mean the whole monitor, not just the game itself.  ...

@KansasCrafter Unfortunately that Acer All-in-one is below the minimum requirements to play the game. The I3 Intel 1.7Ghz cpu is the weakest of the I family. The minimum requirement is 1.8 Ghz. The fact that it is a touch screen is going to reduce performance even more. The graphics that is integrated into the I3 cpu is Intel HD 4400. The minimum requirement is the Intel GMA 4500. The fact that it is an all-in-one means upgraded a weak system may (probably) not possible due to the non standard parts that were used to create that computer. It will probably make a nice student/business computer but as a gaming system its too weak.

You always want a cpu that is more powerful then minimum for a gaming computer.

Integrated graphics chips are the least desirable for a gaming computer.

The Sims 4 is a 3d graphics game.
