Script mod
Hi so my mccc has never worked since I got it it’s all laid out correctly and everything but when I go onto options and click script mods^ reset my game then it’s “Meant” to work mine has never worke...

@lilyhenderson1 When you state to have MCCC installed you should be able to check it by switching on the options in the game menu. First look for other in 'Game options'. There you wil see the options for 'enable custom content and mods' and below that 'script mods allowed'. When you tick these boxes your mods will be enabled in the game.
As soon as you start a game and click one of your Sims there will also be a choice which says 'MC command center'. When you see this option you MCCC will be enabled.
A word of advice: using Mods is not without risks. It could damage your games and saves. MCCC is a very powerful mod and should be handled with great care. If you don't feel up to it. Just don't use it.

Hi yes that’s what I mean, I’ll go onto game options ^ other ^ script mods allowed I’ll tick that off then apply changes^reset my game then I’ll go back on and it will be off again I’ve been trying for atleast since Christmas as that’s when I go my pc and the folder isn’t too deep or anything and I’ve tried repairing it and updating it , somebody please help🥺❤️
@lilyhenderson1 Before you repaired the game did you also delete the localthumbcache.package file from your \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 folder. There could be remnants from old or corrupted mod still be active. You should also check your other mods if they are still up to date. You could do this by using the 50 % method.

Hi I’ll try the first method , all my mods are new as I deleted all my old ones and got all new ones so they r all up to date
Hi I’m gonna try explain this the best I can ^ eg- I’ll go onto my game then the list of mods comes up , at the bottom of it says SCRIPT MODS but nothing is below it , I’ll go onto options^other^ enable custom content and mods is already on... options^other^script mods allowed^ I will tick that off apply changes then reset my game go back into it and go onto options^other yata yata and it’s not ticked , I really need help with this as I’ve been trying to get it to work Since Christmas , so please anybody please please please please help me!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
