script mods will not turn on no matter what i do

So, i have been having this huge problem for at least a year now and i still to no avail, had this said issue fixed and its really bugging me.

to put this shortly, my script mods will not turn on. No matter what i do they wont turn on which is leading to script mods that i have downloaded not work! CC works, its just this very problem.

i have tried almost all of these options and have searched through 10 different forums and i have decided this is the best option.

the very problem: i turn script mods on, apply, leave the game, come back, check options, it is still disabled.

i have tried recreating the mod folder. even putting them all in one at a time, still does not work.

i have tried talking to ea, no help. (because it is a third party system.)

i have repaired the game on origin, nothing.

i tried clearing out the cache, nothing was on there. it was empty.

i tried re downloading the very script mod ive been wanting to play on, still does not work. ☹️

im at a loss and i would really appreciate some help for this problem i am having, if any of you can help, itd be greatly appreciated. thank you.

    Move your Mods folder to the Desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. Then test if you can now enable script mods and they stay enabled. If they do start adding Mods one at a time and check if it stays enabled.

    @jpkarlsen ive done that too. ☹️ ive come to the conclusion its not the mods or the cc messing up the game because i removed it all and it still did not enable. should i check to see if there is things in the wrong file? or re download it?
