QueenVixie​  The guide to running a repair install of Windows has two methods.  Option Two includes creating an ISO and using it to repair the operating system.  There's a link on that page for how to create an ISO, which is not at all difficult; you just need to know which website to go to (from Microsoft) and what buttons to press.  It really is very effective.
