Since you said you didn't close the game, did you not restart the game after removing the mods ?

Hi there! It happened before I removed the skins. I came home from vacation, noticed something was wrong, and then did the following troubleshooting;
-restarted game
-testing if cc skins worked in CAS (yes)
- 50/50 method
- no mods or cc at all
I restarted the game between each of those steps.
Thanks

If so, I'd say try a backup without cc to see if it happens again

Hello,
I tried the following tests;
1 - removed all CC and opened a backup save. Indeed, Selvadorada NPCs in question were all the wrong skin tone, confirming that it is a CC skin that broke when I returned from vacation.
2 - restarted the game with all CC installed and opened the same backup save. Selvadorada NPCs were the right skin tone. I returned from vacation and they remained the correct skin tone in my relationship panel.
3 - returned to vacation, added Selvadorada NPC to my household, returned home. Selvadorada NPC retained the proper skin tone.
I'm not sure why it broke in the game save where my sim had a baby with the Selvadorada NPC. All the Selvadorada NPCs CC skin tones broke in that game save and remain broken, but custom CC skin tones work fine on my household sims. I unfortunately did not know other NPCs well enough to determine if it was only Selvadorada NPCs or all NPCs that lost CC skins tones.
Thanks for your help! It's much appreciated.
