showhiddenitems and ignoregameplay cheats not working

so i've been playing the sims 4 for ages now and have been using testingcheats true and then the usual cheats most people use (bb.moveojects bb.showhiddenitems etc) and have never had any trouble, but for the past week or so no matter what i try i can't get the bb.showhiddenitems and bb.ignoregameplayunlocksentitlement cheats to work. even though in the command bar it comes up and says that they are turned on, none of the items that the cheats usually enable come up anywhere in buy/build mode. i've tried various different households even the ones i've used the cheats at with no problems before. i've tried entering them in both live and build mode. i've done repairs on the game and all it's packs through origin multiple times. i've contacted EA three times and followed their troubleshooting options and none of it has worked. i've tried completely uninstalling then reinstalling the game and all of its packs. i've tried typing DEBUG and UNKNOWN into the search bar and neither of those work either. if anybody has any suggestions or has even had something similar to this happen and could let me know i'd REALLY appreciate your help! x
