In my Sims 4 save, I have a household where one specific sim seems to have gone missing. All the rest are fine, and I'm not over the household limit. I even used the "search for sim" tool and I get a "sim not found" error message. I do use mods, but this has never occurred before and I did not edit any sims in CAS. Not sure what happened but if anyone had some advice I'd appreciate it!
I also had this issue after the last update. I simply used someone else in the house, to call the person, since they still had a relationship. Once i invited them over, I put testing cheats on, shift clicked, and added them back to my house.
Hopefully that helps you out. Why it happened, i'm not sure, but hopefully you're able to play with your missing Sim again.
