sim not moving

What happens when the bug occurs? I just bought the Sims 4 yesterday and all of a sudden my sim just won't move. Time is going on, all the others in the household have no issues, but my sim just stands there ignoring my commands. They will appear in the list but she never does anything. I'm watching time go on and her needs are getting worse but I have no idea what to do. I noticed something similar earlier where she would just ignore commands to feed one particular child, all others she had no problem with.
What do you expect to see? She should be moving or listening to commands or even doing her own.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I didn't download any mods or cc but I did you the motherlode cheat at one point if that makes a difference. I didn't notice anything strange happening around the time that I used the cheat though.
