Sims 4 - initialization error at startup

Every time I try to open the Sims 4 (I have a window's 8 laptop) I get a warning that says...

Unable to start:

Initialization error at startup.

[135dec40:29f00e76:00000083:b032c32e]

I genuinely don't know what to do... I've been struggling for the past two days.

I'm not sure if this will help somebody solve my issue, but the reason for this error is most likely because of the fact that I recently deleted the file that had my original sims 4 file in it. I deleted it because it was located in my C drive which was getting full so I wouldn't be able to get anymore DLC for the game. I copied and pasted the whole file into my D drive before deleting it though so I'm not sure why this might have caused an issue...

sorry if that made absolutely no sense, I'm really tired of typing and researching about this because I've been doing it for the past two days ☹️

the main problem i have had for finding a fix is that most people's error message has a number other then 00000083
