Sims 4 - no buliding stuff or furniture?

all of the furniture has disappeared  from my game even the build walls option has gone you can click any tab in build mode and they are all empty.

Tried clicking the downloadable content tab but it says "something went wrong try later"

Any ideas? really don't want to have to uninstall (looks like I might have to?)

    Hi @rhiahnon,

    could you try right clicking on the game in Origin and hit repair game ?

    Also are you using custom content or mods in your game ?
