sims 4 - no sound after alt tab

this is getting annoying, after i alt tab from the game, the audio stops. 

i have tested this bug both on windowed mode and fullscreen, i have changed my audio quality config on windows (this always works when audio stops when im playing GTA)

the only way the audio works again is if i restart the game, which is extremely annoying.

i didnt have this bug before the latest update :~)

    @puzzlezaddicti have disabled the audio focus in the game config. and now im playing on windowed mode, it seems to have fixed the audio loss issue.

    but i had to restart the game after disabling audio focus, just disabling it wont fix the issue, i had to restart the game in order for the new changes to take place.

    @LIIIIIIIIEEEES  There's a current issue with sound disappearing when the output is changed:

    I know that's not exactly what you've described, but if you've set up your system to change sound outputs depending on the task, the cause could be the same.  To that end, does this happen if you have only one sound output device connected and it's active (not disabled, not muted) no matter what application is in focus?  If it does still happen, please try using a different sound device that uses a different type of connection, again with nothing else connected.

    For good measure, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
