Sims 4 - Try for baby won't work

No matter what, whether i remove all my mods, put the bed in the middle of an empty room, have both sims Very Flirty, they will not Try for Baby. It's selectable. I can click it. It goes in the queu...

    My issue is resolved! I deleted my cache and all my save files, save backups and such and started with a basegame no cc family with no mods and it finally fixed!

When you say you've reset the folder, which exact folder do you mean?

Have you tried a completely clean, new game (moved out your Sims 4 folder from Documents > Electronic Arts) with a new couple and tried for a baby?

The Sims 4 folder itself was reset in that exact way, and i have tried it with various couples, various saves etc

    Ok. Did you put your old saves back into the new folder that was created? Or did you start a completely new, clean game with a new couple and nothing copied over from your old folder?

      I started over completely, and when that didn't work. i tried it with the old saves too
