Sims 4 - Unable to start Initialization error at startup

I am so disappointed. Here I am staying up late to this " play the game the second it is released" nonsense and the game refuses to start! The Demo worked very well, no issues.. but the real game that i actually spent money on cant start? How ironic is that?

 PLeaseee! Help!!!!!!!! Im about to cry!

I am very frustrated! Mine says Cannot connect to the server.  This is not the first time I have dealt with Sim products and not enough server...

I stayed up late too. GGGrrrrrrrr

Get your act together, EA. Especially considering this game comes with the "EA satisfaction guarantee", I'm pretty tempted to ask for a refund when you decide to launch on September first at 11pm (What kind of time is that anyway?) and then the game simply refuses to start? Come on now!

Anyone here have a Mac and somehow have Origin working?

Someone on another forum stated that deleting Sims 4 and reinstalling worked for them but I am unable to re-download it as I am currently tethered to my phone for internet.

I hit reload games and it came up where I could hit the play button.  Fingers crossed for it working!

Being able to hit the play button hasn't been the issue. The game starts up then the error code comes and kicks me out.
