@Ibtissims I've moved your post to the Sims 4 PC tech section. Please run a dxdiag on this computer and attach it to a reply.

It kind of sounds like you're running Windows, but if you happen to have a Mac, let me know, and this thread will get moved to the Mac tech section instead.

For now.
Move the mods folder to the desktop.
Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game - important!
Fix the game in Origin.
Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder and check if a game is working now without mods and CC.
Check if there are new updated versions of the mods and CC you are using.
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)
You need to find a culprit and either remove it or replace it with an updated version
If it will not work could you post your Computer's DxDiag, as was asked in the post above?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
I don't work for EA
- @puzzlezaddict I'm running Windows. What's a dxdiag ?
(it's in french)
@Ibtissims Please save all the information in the dxdiag as a .txt file—click on "Enregistrer toutes les informations" and save the file to your desktop. Then you can attach it to a reply here. There's a lot more information in a dxdiag than what's on the page in your screenshot. And it's fine that it's in French; the relevant information is easy enough to find in any language.
Please also remove your Sims 4 game folder from Documents\Electronic Arts. (You can just move it to your desktop.) Try to launch the game, and let me know whether it works. Your saves won't show up, but that's fine, since they'll still be in the folder you moved, and you can always put them back later.
- @puzzlezaddict I have to attach the contents of the dxdiag document?
@Ibtissims Yes, please do.
- @puzzlezaddict can you just send me your mail adress because there are too much pictures to send
@Ibtissims You don't need to post the pictures. Just click Save All Information ("Enregistrer toutes les informations" in your previous screenshot), and everything will be saved as a .txt file. It's plain text, so the file won't be that large, and you can attach it to a post.
Please also test the game in a clean folder, as suggested before. Remove your entire Sims 4 game folder from Documents\Electronic Arts—you can put it on your desktop—and see if you can now open the game. Let me know either way.
I moved the game file to the desktop and started it but nothing changed, the dxdiag file is here
