Sims 4 bought on Origin but now I own an expansion pack from Xbox Ultimate Game

    @Cloverkittycove  Just to be clear, EA Play is a subscription, and the EA App is the game launcher.  You don't have an EA Play account, you have an EA account, and that account should have an EA Play subscription courtesy of XBox GamePass Ultimate.  I'm not trying to be annoying here, it's just that when sorting out account issues, not using accurate terminology can get in the way when seeking help.

    When you say you can see your XBox friends in the EA App, are you seeing your friends, or your brother's friends?  If you have a separate XBox account, and you're seeing the friends you have there in the EA App, then it sounds like your XBox account, not your brother's, is connected to your EA account.  It's supposed to be impossible to connect two XBox accounts to the same EA account, although I've seen reports of this happening.  But it can have unintended effects, perhaps inclluding blocking you from accessing EA Play-related content.

    As a test, please try to sign into an EA site, or the EA App, with your brother's XBox credentials, or have him try it.  If you or he lands in your EA account, the two accounts are properly linked.  If you see an error, let me know what it says.

See the thing is... He has no EA Play account. 

Unless we're talking about the EA Play that comes from the Game Pass then, yes. 

He has his own separate Microsoft account that he allowed me to connect my XBOX account to via the Microsoft store, hence the fact that I now have the pass.

I don't mean to add on to the issue but I have noticed I'm incapable of playing ANY of the EA Play games that come with the Ultimate pass. It's as if my Xbox account isn't linked to my EA Play account, which to the best of my knowledge, I know it is because I'm able to see my Xbox friends list via the EA Play App.
