Sims 4 Cant Click on any tabs

Hey, so Im playing with windows 10.

I have the packs: Famous, Island Living, Vampire, Toddler stuff, Pets, witches packs.

I sometimes have this problem that I play and everything works fine, but I cant click on the notification tab, or save game, exit game etc...
And cant click on CTRL + C like the tab wont show up.
I tried to go out of the app, and tried closing the app but when I click X nothing happens, like it wont exit.

Anyone that has any ideas? It happens maybe once a month or smth. Game worked fine and the tab with cheats came up, I simply made my sim call on the phone to find a job, when I selected a job, I was gonna use the promote cheat, but when I tried getting the tab up to write the cheat code it didnt show. Thats when i tried exiting the game, and found out that nothing shows up.
I Can still play the game normally just cant click on the notification or exit... any ideas?

    I finally got to close my sims by going on building mode, then the options came. But what is making these bugs? I have never had any problems like this before, very rarely.

    If you are using any mods move your mods folder to the desktop and try without it. The game will spawn a new empty mods folder.
    Delete the localthumbcache.package file in the game folder. Delete also all folders with the word "cache" in the name. Then fix the game in Origin
    Origin/My games library - right-click on TS4 - option: repair game
    You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
    If it will work properly without mods then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods one by one every time checking if the game is OK.
    Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method. ( divide your CC into smaller batches for example 50 pieces in one subfolder and check these subfolders one by one)

    If you are not using mods or this advice above will not work try doing a factory reset of the game folder as is described in this post
