Does this happen if you start a new save and try and create a new sim?
Are you using any mods in your game? Try to remove them and see if the game works better.
For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game.
Else, try repairing the game in Origin and see if that helps.

Hi! I have a simmilar issue as the person who had a complaint about this. However, I can't adjust any of the body parts at all. I'm using a Mac and I just recently installed the game. There are no mods other than the DLCs that I've downloaded. Also, I'm playing it through my external hard drive since my mac's drive doesn't have enough space.
