SIMS 4 CAS NOT WORKING AFTER NEW UPDATE

So I literally have zero mods and zero CC, just the normal game and this is happening to me. I just got a new gaming laptop and installed it and it never happened before this. Idk what the problem is.

Have you tried repairing your game through Origin ?

Do you have the " More CAS Columns" mod? If you do, remove that mod.

This worked for me.

how do I update my mods? do i need to uninstall them and then reinstall them?

thank the loRD for you!!! IT WORKED AH OMG i took out the more Cas Columns mod and everything is super smooth now and im so greatful for you THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH

I removed that one but I still have the issue, do you know any other mods that could be causing this issue

Just wondering? Have you downloaded the 3 rows or 4 rows mod? If you did take that out because I realised thats always the problem. When I took mine out it worked.
