sims 4 cas opens but doesnt let me make a sim, game is missing default worlds???

sims 4 cas opens but doesnt let me make a sim, sim is unmovable and you cant change anything on them at all. I opened my game a few days ago only to open cas and see the outline of a male sim t-posing. It wont let me change the sim no matter how many times I exit and re-open my game. After this disappointment I decide to just build instead. I opened a couple of my saves only to find that the two default worlds weren't showing up in the world menu?? But all the other worlds were ?? I'm just wondering if anyone has a solution or is also having the same problem? I'm on the latest update, I've tried to exit and re-open, I've tried most things I could think of. Thanks in advance.

  • @h0bbithole  Try repairing your game in Origin:  Open your Origin game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.  This should fix the missing worlds issue, and hopefully it will fix the CAS issue as well.

If you still see the T-pose though, please remove your entire Sims 4 game folder from Documents\Electronic Arts (you can put it on your desktop).  Launch the game, which will spawn a clean folder, and see whether CAS looks normal now.  If it does, you can move the contents of the Saves and Tray folders from your old game folder to your new one.  If you have cc or mods, test those in the clean folder first to make sure they're not causing the problem.  Most of the other files are disposible and will regenerate as necessary.  Here's an explanation of all the files in your game folder:
