Sims 4 CC is no longer working

I've been downloading mods and custom content for the past week or so (nothing sketchy looking) but as of like, 2 days ago, most of the custom content I download doesn't work... Mods work fine (as far as I know), it's just certain pieces of CAS content that refuse to show up in my game. Like these flannel recolors, for example. And these braces. And nobody else seems to be reporting any problems with them in the notes or anything so I don't know what else to try? Nothing that has worked before has stopped working; It's just new stuff that won't work.

I've tried deleting my localthumbcache, I've cleared out mods that I downloaded the last couple days before things went wrong, I've looked in every nook and cranny of CAS for the content, but it just doesn't show up. There's more than just those two items that won't work; I've bumped into about 8 or so items that don't show up.

Any ideas?

    Did you try removing the whole mods folder and putting them back one by one, starting with the newer ones ? Also delete the files in the folder cache.

    I'm unsure if the patch changed anything that makes it not work, haven't really heard anything tbh.

    "Delete the files in the folder cache" You mean all of them? Will that affect my active households or anything saved in my library?

    And no, I did not try moving the mods out and testing them one by one, thanks for the tip. 😕mileyvery-happy: I'll try it when I get home tomorrow.

    You can just move the folder to the desktop (the cache one). It should not affect anything. It should get recreated.

    If you just move and not delete, you can always put it back if stuff goes wrong.

    I am not prepared to do that what if you can't find all the stuff befor if you want us to do this you do it for us 😡

    SAME! I was just downloading some custom content today at around 6:00 and I try to continue to play the Sims 4 and yet non of my CC is there! I mean NON! And the worst part is that my Sims 3 CC isn't showing up either! The only things showing up in my Sims 3 game is the CC that is verified as "store content" and I refuse to play the Sims 4 without my custom content. EA has create some beautiful clothing but I can't handle this game without my custom content! So I'm sitting here looking around for EVERYTHING to help me get my custom content back into both of my beloved games. ( p.s all of my content is in the correct folders and the "enable custom content switch in my Sims 4 game is turned on" )
