I press CTRL+SHIFT+C but the cheat bar won't open. They used to work but randomly it stopped (custom content also stopped working at the same time). I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it but that didn't do anything. Any ideas on what I could do?
In all likelihood you have a screen capture program running in the background that uses the same key combination. See if you can change the key combination used in that program or shut it down while playing.
This is not a problem with mods, but a problem with your computer.
Check the settings on the computer.
It can be a keyboard, no sound on the speaker or any other device that has been temporarily or permanently disconnected from the computer.
