Nevermind. I applied the latest patch fix and it worked. Thanks anyways!
sorry to bother you, but could you tell me how you got the patch fix? it's happening to me too and i really want to fix it, thanks. i also tried to play with a new save and it crashed anyway.

@IIrjvcII What patch level do you currently have? You can see it along the bottom of the screen at the Main Menu, where you have the option to load a save or start a new one. A fully patched game will be version 1.63.36.xxxx.
If Origin isn't offering an update, try clearing its cache:

Then restart your computer, and if you still can't update, repair the game first: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.
If your game is already fully patched, please move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything yet; just try to start a new save and see whether you can play for a bit. Let me know either way.
