Sims 4 crashes when resuming game

WHY CANT THIS WORK!! ok so i open my sims 4 game, mind you theres no cc no nothing BASE GAME so when i open my game and then i click on resume game im met with the game half way into loading and my computor crashing, I CANT BE THE ONLY ONE GOING THROUGH THIS ive checked multiple tuts and NOTHING NOTHING!!!i havent even got the time to put mods and cc i got a new pc and everything uninstalled sims 4 a billion times and still not workkingg!! IM TIRED PLS HELP
