Sims 4 crashes when typing in lot information

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? current version
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? None
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? click on info panel segment when managing worlds and try to type anything longer than a sentence
What happens when the bug occurs? game crashes 
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to let me type in the description box
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Unknown

Anytime I try to type lot information in the info panel segment when managing worlds my game crashes. I've opened task manager while playing and there doesn't seem to be any spike in CPU/GPU when I do this. I play with MC Command Center exclusively besides for some fashion CC. 

My laptop doesn’t have the highest specs but meets the minimum requirements and it isnt my laptop crashing just the sims 4.

    @atari_rozu  When you type, are you using special characters or perhaps hitting Return/Enter?  If you just type this is a test over and over, does the game still crash, and if so, how many characters or repeats do you get through before it crashes?

    Additionally, if you normally run another app that includes an overlay, for example Steam or Discord, please disable the overlay or close the app before playing.

    Thank you for your help but I think there was an issue with my CC, I wasn't using any special characters, when the issue first came up I typed in approx 2-3 lines and it crashed (multiple times) however I switched to a sim that didn't use any CC it was fine. I think when typing in the lot information and the render of the sim came up there was an issue loading the CC in the thumbnail? Possibly idk but when typing this is a test over and over again it was fine with the sim without CC but not with CC.
