Sims 4 Crashing Issues

Hello, 

I have been running into crash issues for the past month. I've been wracking my brain on how to fix this to no resolve. Here are the current fixes I've tried:

  • Uninstall Sims 4 and re-install
  • Uninstall Add ons and re-install
  • Uninstall Add ons all together
    • Started new playthrough without any add ons
  • Rollback graphics driver
  • Update bios to newest version

All of these and I'm still having issues with it crashing. Any help would be appreciated.

    7549717d899e9f58  Sorry for the late reply; I've been away from the forums for a while.

    If you still need help, please look for an update to your motherboard's BIOS.  I can't see from your dxdiag what board you use and therefore can't tell you if you're running the newest BIOS, but its current version is 1812.  Find your exact model and google "[model name] drivers," then look for the Asus support page.

    If that doesn't help, try disabling CPU Turbo Boost in the BIOS Advanced settings.  It might be called something slightly different but should have "turbo" in its name, and it should be in there somewhere.
