Sims 4 crashing Sept 2024

    @b5be681c615c3fca and @DeeKuznetsova  If you have any files in ConfigOverride, please remove them.

    @DeeKuznetsova  Please test without your custom content as well, just for comparison's sake.  Either remove the Mods folder or rename it.

    For both of you, if that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and let me know how it runs.

    If you get another crash or freeze, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Every time my sim leaves the home lot and I try to return, it just spins and spins. Fix your update so I can play.

@kensalzalem  Does the lot you can't load have the Off the Grid challenge?  If so, please remove it in Build mode and try again to load it in live mode.
