Sims 4 Crashing to Desktop Consistantly

Any time I try to play the Sims 4 I'm able to play without issue for anywhere from 2 - 20 minutes before it crashes to the desktop. The game is completely unplayable. There are no errors or anything,...

    So I ended up looking at the hardware and did some swaps. I switched out the hard drive, motherboard, ram sticks, and CPU - all of my issues were finally solved (including the Sims crashes) after the new CPU was installed. If you're experiencing issues updating windows, installing content, certificate issues, and random game crashes look at the CPU!

@prctclwtch Just out of curiosity - did you replace the cpu with the same generation that you originally had 0r did you upgrade or downgrade? I ask because a cpu failure is rare - usually a cpu works or it don't.  Thank you
