Can't invite in client for Apothecary career

I tried to have my sim take care of a client at home with the Naturopath career and I can't interact with the client. It runs the action for inviting them in, but I guess not fully because it refuses to let me do anything else. I tried turning off mods and resetting both sims, but nothing seems to help.

Did you try rename your mods folder and delete the localthumbcache. I have been playing the naturepath and don't have any problems. You invite them in then the option to client intake will appear.

I just tried that, unfortunately it didnt work. It still only gives me the option to invite in repeatedly and nothing else.

I have the exacte same problem. Weirdly I've been playing the naturopath career for a few hours, and did not encounter any bugs before. Resetting sims (naturopath and client) indeed does not help, nor does restarting and repairing the game. I did just move my sim to a new lot, right before the bug occurred. Could it have something to do with that?

I didn't move my sim at all, at it was the first time I tried to have my sim take care of a client at home, just a day or two after getting promoted.

I might have solved it. I was eager to help my client, and approached them instantly after they spawned on the lot. It seems that waiting for a bit to let them walk to your front door (or wave at you in greeting) opens up more interaction options. Similarly, while helping them, sometimes some naturopath interaction options disappear, but only while the previous action is still ongoing. Patience is a virtue, it seems.

Anyway, it's working for me now. :)
