Yesterday was the first time it started, and basically what happened was I tried loading the game up, and it was kind of slow. It got over the initial "Sims 4" screen, but on the loading screen, it suddenly stopped and the game closed by itself/crashed. I tried multiple times trying to retry or check if any CC or mods were broken, but nothing helped. I tried again just a few minutes ago, and it still was not working.
This has been happening to me for DAYS. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, repaired my game multiple times, removed all mods and CC, nothing has worked. I was hopeful for this new update to fix it but it's still just as broken as before. You're not alone in this issue, friend.
I am having the same exact issue. Have looked through many forums, reddit post and nothing is working. Its been like a week for me.
I've also had this trouble. I have no mods or CC. I've been playing for years. Now, as of a couple days ago, I noticed that I cannot start the game. It freezes on the loading screen, until I hit the windows button, which minimizes the app. Then when I try to open it again, it's frozen on the menu screen. I can't close the app at that point, and have to restart my computer to get it to close. I've tried reinstalling the app, and repairing it, and nothing is working.
