@Rapscallionn Is your account's Documents directory located in the same place, or is it in Users\your username\Documents? You can check by right-clicking the Documents icon in a File Explorer window and selecting Properties > Location.
If your Documents folder is in the correct location, try dragging the Electronic Arts folder from the public folder to your own Documents folder, then see whether the game uses it.
I accidentally opened The Sims 4 when my One Drive was on and it immediately wrote a new folder 'Electronic Arts' there. I tried moving that folder to the documents folder on C:/users/.../documents. I then unlinked and uninstalled One Drive but it still takes that folder. Then I tried copying the 'Electronic Arts' folder from One Drive > To C:/users/.../documents. Still writes a new folder on the One Drive. This stubborn damn pc, what am I doing wrong?
@Rapscallionn Is your user account's Documents directory still pointing to OneDrive? Please double-check.
And is OneDrive currently uninstalled? If so, the game shouldn't be writing to a folder there.
