Sims 4 deleted all my content

Question

Hi! I've been trying to play the sims 4 recently but it wouldn't open. This was after i moved some cc into the mods folder so I thought I might just have too much and took some out, but it still wouldn't open. After messing around a bit it finally DID open, but everything I had was gone. Builds, sims, saves, and all of the mods and cc I installed were completely deleted. I had a lot of things, and I DO have a recent backup but it didn't do anything when I tried to use it. Is there a way I can get my stuff back?

tunainsideofacan&nbsp; It sounds like the backup files at least might not be in the correct location, as in, the Sims 4 folder the game is currently reading.&nbsp; Here's how to find it:

If you find them anywhere on your PC, or on onedrive.com, you can restore them as described, and they should work.&nbsp; Just make sure they're named properly in addition to being in the correct location.
