Community AdminTry restarting Origin as administrator and see if this has any effect. Past this, check that your firewall/anti-virus aren't blocking the game or Origin.
It might be worth downloading Peggle (It's free right now) to test if this has similar issues.
The same thing is happening to me, and is happening with simcity as well. I've logged in and out multiple times, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Sims 3 works fine, as well as sims two and I haven't downloaded my other games on this computer yet so I don't know about them.
Could you post this info:
- Click on Start and then type the following into the search prompt at the bottom: perfmon /rel
- Press Enter to proceed.
- A window will open and in there you can click on the red circles with a white X.
- After clicking the X, the info on the bottom will update. Choose the Sims 4 Demo Critical Event one and right click on it and choose "View Technical Details"
- Now on the next window, choose Copy to clipboard at the very bottom and post this into a reply to us here.
